Welcome to Mater Dei Theatre!

 

We are excited to start the year off with Mrs Fouts returning to teach Honors Musical Theatre I, II and III as well as directing the All School Musical and Senior Musical. In addition, we welcome our new Director of Theatre, Mrs Madison Leal. 

 

 

 

Mrs Leal is thrilled to join the Performing Arts community at Mater Dei. She comes to us from Redlands where she lead her theatre program for two years. Before that, she lived abroad in London where she earned her Masters of Fine Arts in Acting with the University of Essex (East 15 Acting School). Originally from Orange County, Madison has experience as a director, stage manager, designer, and actress in cities across Southern California. Her fondest performance to date was when she played Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing at Shakespeare’s Globe in London during her graduate program. Madison is eager to continue the tradition of a thriving Theatre  program and to usher in the next era of creative progress here at Mater Dei.
